Requirements
The Privacy Policy must be available at a live, non-PDF URL, linked from the Play Store listing and accessible inside the app.
Data Categories to Cover
The Privacy Policy should explicitly cover the following categories and be aligned with the app’s actual behavior and SDKs:
Personal Information
- Name
- Employee ID
- Email / phone number (if collected)
- Organization / department
Workforce Data
- Attendance information
- Leave information
- Payroll-related information
Location
- Location information, including background location for geo-fence attendance
Technical Data
- Device information
- Authentication information
- Usage / log information
Important
Do not copy this list blindly into the Data Safety form. It needs to match what the app and its SDKs actually collect, transmit, store, and share.
Google requires all developers to complete the Data Safety form and disclose how user data is collected, shared, and protected.
